Glenridding Guides is managed by Steve (left), started

in 2007 after completion of his International Mountain Leader (IML) in the Valais region of Switzerland.

Since leaving school Steve has taught Outdoor Sports and Activities in the Lakes, Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia, Scotland, French Alps, Swiss Alps and Turkey.

He can also be found teaching Outdoor Education at local Activity Centres and more recently working at height as an IRATA Level 3 Supervisor to help improve the UK's transport infrastructure.

Steve has lived on the edge of Ullswater since 2001, firstly near Howtown and now resides in Glenridding with his wife and two children.
